PBE log in issues

I was prompted to change my username (which I am upset about). After I did that I tried logging in to the PBE and it said those credentials don't exist. If i log in under my old credentials it prompts me to change my username again. Why did I have to change my username in the first place and not allowed to keep the same one? Need help getting on.

I'm having the same issue on PBE as well. I tried unistalling the client and restarting my computer, but the new login doesn't register.
