Aram character select crash

While I wait in queue for arams, I put the game in the background so I can watch a video/browse reddit. When the queue pops and we are in character select if I click the very border where you would resize the game stops responding and crashes.

Every single time that happens I get queue dodge penalty and I then need to wait 15 minutes not because I dodged but because the game crashes It's very irritating.
