I had bought the elixir of wrath 6 minutes into an ARAM match as Ashe and had it all game, but I noticed a few minutes in that when I auto attacked or cast my Volley spell, which deals physical damage, that I was not healing as intended.
The Bearded Bard1 votesVolley is a spell, physical damage or not, unless it applies on-hit effects (Volley applies Q but no other on-hits) it won't give you health back from lifesteal. For that you'd need spellvamp.
ExHentai1 votesThis would apply to this bug report if we were dealing with life steal but Elixir of Wrath grants Bloodlust. Bloodlust heals 10% of physical damage dealt which inludes physical damage dealing spells in addition to basic attacks. OP is correct in his thinking that the elixir would let him heal off of volley even though the wrong term was used.
