Gamebreaking Lag - Can't Play Anymore

It's so bad I can't play any more. I am an East Coast (Florida) - NA player, and I am certain it isn't my computer, nor my internet, that's causing the problem. I know I'm not the only one having this problem but I couldn't find any solution in the threads already posted, so I'm just adding mine onto the pile.

The Problem:

My issue has gotten worse patch by patch, and the most recent patch (last week) was the one that killed it. I can start up any game mode, be it a 5v5 ranked, ARAM, or a solo bot game, and it always happens. At random times, usually less than 10 minutes between each spike, I'll start lagging. The small lag lasts for 1-2 seconds, then it just freezes up for another 3-4 seconds around 1.5k-2k ping, then I get hit with the good ol' "Attempting to Reconnect" screen, where my ping usually drops to a steady 500.

I have to completely exit the game all the way back to the client and click the orange "Reconnect" tab for it to start back up. This problem has killed the game for me. I'm looking for any sort of help from someone who has had the problem before and maybe fixed it? If any other information is needed just ask!
