Ranked closed, lost points

I was in champion select for ranked, randomly the animation looked like someone dodged, but it froze with a mid animation of the queue accept/decline screen. After about 30 seconds the error message saying ranked queues are closed flashed on my client in it's respective spot, for less than a second. After waiting about 5 minutes I attempted to close the client, with it saying if I dodge I could face penalties. I lost ranking because of this issue with your servers. :(
