What is wrong with the client?!!??!?!

OMG!! RITO fix this problem. My client would randomly disconnect and even stop working forcing me to quit. It is really aggravating and is affecting my gameplay. I even almost got banned because the client keeps disconnecting and forcing me to quit the client in the middle of champion pick. It was working fine before 2 patch updates ago, FIX IT PLEASE!!

I have also been having this problem since patch 5.8. Other computers using my house's router do not have this problem, and it seems to be getting worse for me over time; the disconnect periods are getting longer.

What's wrong with your computer? It works fine for everyone I know.

List your computer specs, OS, OS version (what updates you've installed), and what you've tried to do to fix it, and we'll go from there.

I am having this problem as well, but only in the client. I occasionally get DC'd from pvp.net. This is really annoying in queues as I cannot accept the games. My friends are connecting while i'm in skype with them yet I can't see the queue pop. It's worth noting that as soon as the game finally starts I'm having no issues, no lag, or anything. The game itself is totally fine, it's client only. If i DC during champ select I can usually reconnect and keep picking, but if it happens for too long or at the wrong time masteries or runes won't update, which can also cause issues. Occasionally the client will also just crash altogether, but this is much more rare.

I am getting similar issues as everyone else. Sometimes its during Champion select, other times it's actually in game! And the only way to reconnect is to restart the client or restart my computer. This is very irritating and Riot NEEDS TO FIX THIS.

I am consistently disconnecting from PVP.net in client as well. I never had this problem before, and I've been playing LoL for years. The problem seemed to start with 5.9. So far I'm just trying to raise awareness about it because I'm not sure if Riot even realizes that this is a problem for what I gather to be a substantial amount of users.

Problem connecting to server today, wont let me connect no matter what. These last few patches I feel have been super rough. Either that, or, their servers need work.

Hi, i have the same problem since the last patch.... the game don't freeze! i see clearly what the others are doing i just can't move and i get the message 'attempting to reconnect' .... i have to close the client with the help of the task manager and when i enter the game it happens again .... i'm really sick of getting reports because of this issue! i updated all my drivers, re-installed the client but nothing helped... my fps are between 70 and 100 and my ping is constantly under 40.... RITO PLS (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
