Can't add friends / Groups

I can't add new friends. I can't add new friend groups. My existing groups are now deleted. I've been looking around for a fix and can't find any. Literally what's the point of this game if you can't add new people??

EDIT: oh yeah! I can't invite people to my games either, without a manual typing of their name! Great client!!!

my friend list folders are gone and im thinking it has to do with the legends of runeterra launch. had those folders for many years and now i cant recognize some friends anymore. ffs fix this shit, riot
