Kennen's Ult Invisible?

So since the last patch I've played a couple of games against a Kennen. Once he's kills me, I see that he ulted and but i was unable to see his ult. I thought this was just a problem with me until I asked my friend and he couldn't see his ult either. Is anyone else experiencing this problem with or against a Kennen?
