[Mac Client/Loading Screen Bug] Loading takes so long that I cant join a game till 6-10 min in.

Playing on a Mac (OS X El Capitan. 10.11.6). After this latest patch, my loading screen takes 6-10 minutes longer than everyone else. I get hung up at %48, %96, %98, %100, and do not load into the game, despite the game starting. When I do finally load in, It says I have disconnected and are "attempting to reconnect". When the game has concluded, I do not receive rewards due to "afk behavior".

Just as a side note...when the new loading screen was first launched, my load times went noticeably down. Then every patch since then, they have gotten worse and worse.

This has happened every time I have tried to play a match. Both ARAM and SR.
