Udyr dealt true damage? (without red buff)

Hello guys. I played a game earlier today against an Udyr and his "tiger stance" dealt true damage according the death recap. Is this just a death recap bug or does Udyr's Tiger Stance actually deal true damage? O.o And no, he didn't have red buff.

You can't trust death recap. No, it doesn't.

Did he have armor penetration or something? And were you playing a squishy?

I dunno, sometimes it's possible to have enough penetration to deal true damage, but that tends to be rare due to runes.

I'm going to guess he had red smite.
