was playing Karma on Twisted Treeline: Hexakill 27:2710/27/2014 went to base, i don't remember if i died or recalled, but i ended up stuck underground i tried recalling but it didn't fix the problem. i could still cast spells but moving was really jumpy and awkward. eventually i made my way to our turret and got pulled by Blitz, my second death. when i respawned i was above ground. the rest of the game seemed pretty normal.
I had this same thing happen to me when I was playing Janna on Howling Abyss. I went to fling a tornado and moved back and it looked like the pathing screwed up or something but I like, spun back and forth then ended up in the ground. I was untargettable, and could do everything but moving was also jumpy and awkward. If I spammed an emote and walked it was smoother though.

we were defending our inhibitor tower don't remember if it was Karma or another champion... but a spell hit him and his champion laid down and vanished under the map textures... Still able to move and cast. It auto fixxed after a minute.
Interesting. I had this happen to me once, but had no idea what caused it. I was using Mistletoe LeBlanc. Do you remember if you were using a skin or not?
This happened to me as leblanc as well! I was playing dominion and I think I was using the prestigious skin
I had something like this happen. I was playing ARAM as Syndra and after I'd respawned and was leaving the alter (I forget if I used any spells or w/e), I was suddenly under the map textures. I could kinda move around, but it was really jerky and everything. I figured it was just my toaster, esp since it fixed itself after a minutes / I used some abilities. Happened too long ago for me to remember if I was wearing a skin or not. Might have had Justicar on.
I also saw this happen with brand (classic skin) weird i dunno if its that big a deal though.
This happened to an enemy Blitzcrank, no skin, two days ago. We were fighting in front of Dragon pit and he suddenly slid underground, over to bottom lane, then onto our blue where he proceeded to pull someone from dragon (left) bush. We were all very confused. Things then went back to normal.
