Ive read up on this a little bit, 4 months ago it seemed a lot of people had this issue. anyways after the server move I logged in and played 1 game with my friend immediately after the game ended i was disconnected from chat and now 12 hours later still cant reconnect to chat, I've never had this problem before. It's really frustrating cause i only play league to play with friends and I cant, any help?
Please Riot this is really frustrating me not being able to play with my friends, can you please respond to this!!!
Exact same issue here - Tried the date trick, the router trick, the dns flush trick, the task manager trick, i reinstalled, i repaired. The only thing I've not tried that I've read was having a friend log on to your acct elsewhere while you are logged in.
No idea what happened, been going on for the past 24hrs. Played about 10 games after the new patch just fine, then all of a sudden no more chat.
I'm on a Mac and also have this issue.
My ISP is comcast and i've the same problem as TheFlamedragon. It's wierd cause i was playing fine 2 days ago then this started. Would be great to get a explanation or a fix. I've reinstalled the client, reset the router & modem, wired my connection, flushed DNS and all the other stuff on that connection issues page. Again this is a "reconnect to chat problem" not a disconnected from the game.
PS. ingame chat works but homescreen chat doesnt (i can type in ingame chat but not gg at the end of the match). I cant recieve game invites. Also cant see my friends when theyre online.
