Client malfunction

so I just created a new account and they are giving you champions for free which is pretty cool now. But when I go to select the 1 out of 3 champions I want the select button goes away and it won't let me accept the champion. only will appear when I have my cursor over the champions name. This has happened once before and was hoping that I was just a one time thing. I logged out and back in like 5 times and it finally worked. this time I am having no such luck. probably logged back in almost 10 times now and it will not let me select the champion and move on. its really rather frustrating. Has this happened to anyone else?
