Mac Problems, game has not updated to latest patch

What has been happening is that my client has not been updated to patch 4.21 yet, it's still on 4.20. i can still access my account. I decided to play a game, the chat for caling lanes does not work, then once i loaded into the game i leashed my teamate game freezes. reconnect, freezes again. after that game, i was notified that i was placed into 5 low priority games.
