I can't run league screensaver it just say " unable to start screensaver. Switcch- - LoL launcher required

Hey there!

Do you by chance have any non English or special characters in your computer username? Originally we had not accounted for players who may have special characters in their computer username (e.g. D@NK M3M3S). We've fixed this particular issue so that it works with all usernames. While we understand this may be a hassle, you’ll need to download a fresh version of the app from and perform a clean install.

If this doesn't work, let us know and we'll try and work through this with you! You can check the FAQ )for updates as we'll try to post solutions for different bugs as they come in.

Is there an option to disable screensaver? I only want wallpapers, but it forces its screensaver on my laptop. :(

It's not live just yet but this is something we're working on right now. It's our #1 most prioritized fix. Look out for a solution in the coming weeks!

I have a differrent problem with my screensaver. There is a window that says everything is fine after i click activate but nothing really happens after that. My wallpaper stays the same. I would really appreciate some support as the screensavers are awesome. Thanks!
