Since 8.9 downloaded, I could not buy a full item in the store even though i have two components and the full amount of gold the item was asking for. When i had gained the full price of the item, then i could buy it. After i sold the components so that i wouldn't have duplicates, the full price of the item had gone down.

Same thing happened to me. In order to get my full item I had to sell everything. Sucked. Put me way behind.
Just had the same issue while playing Janna.
