I've noticed that when use Varus' Q ability, while having quickcast enabled, it automaticly fires the arrow, without charging it up.

Is that how it's supposed to be?

IF you hold down q it charges. Most charge-up abilities you have to do this, like sion or xerath q. Its pretty nice when you get used to it.
