Spectating bug on the Oceanic server

Basically when i try to spectate a friends game the screen turns black with the LOL logo in the middle and a message pops up under the logo. I think that it says "request failed", or something. Also when i try to spectate through op.gg its says that there is no live game, even though my friend is in a game and the website lolnexus.com also says that the summoner isn't in a game. I hope someone reads this soon and fixes whatever is going wrong with the server. I like watching my friends play because i learn a lot from them.
