Shen taunt not always working

At first I thought it was because the hit box was changed but over the past two days between friends playing shen and in one instance when I played against a shen I have seen the same bug. Shen has taunted very clearly through me and I did not get taunted I have seen the very same thing happen with thresh hook when playing as him. I don't know what happened but something is going wrong.
