Disconnected from a game after one minute, team couldn't remake?

Basically, after draft put me in the ADC role because of my second suggestion, I swapped my summoners/runes etc to fit ADC, but then someone queued dodged at the last minute and I got put into Jungler again, unfortunately i'm a bit distracted at times and forgot to switch Heal back to Smite after sorting my runepage out, as i'd just played Jungler multiple games before and went robot mode at champ select.

Seeing as i'd rather not ruin the game, I planned on taking the hit, disconnected from the game and the client before creeps had even reached the lane, so that my team could /remake.

Apparantly the game has now gone on for 15 minutes and the game kept telling them that they were unable to remake. No one had died previous to me leaving the game, so is the game for some reason still considering me to be connected to it? Or is this some widespread bug? I tried googling and saw some people had this issues also, but frankly it's just a bit unacceptable after how long this game has been out for now. So not only do I get the punishment, my team still have to suffer the loss and wait until 15 minutes?
