I was lever busted for something that is Riotgames fault.

Before people say it's my computer I have a decent gaming rig and it should not be the issue.

There are a couple bugs that are really becoming an annoyance to me.

  1. Today I got into a match and after champion select I never connected and the "League of Legends" logo never came up and I could not get into the loading screen. This has happened 3 times now and the result is that I can't open ANY programs or task manager. Your client literally made me force restart my computer manually (by holding the power button) and I couldn't even shut down my PC by opening the start menu and clicking "Shut down". It's quite tedious to restart my computer like this since it takes longer due to force shutdown. I'm 100% sure this is not a problem with my client or my PC. I really didn't want to type "I agree" to the leverbuster system when it was something that I literally couldn't do anything about.

  2. Skin selection in Team Builder is really buggy and needs to be fixed. It ends up putting on a default skin even after I've selected it multiple times.

i had an identical problem. i have recently bought a new pc, (a month ago). i am connecting with a very good internet connection, but today my game crashed 3 times, and i had to exit the game, because it wouldn't reconnect. I don't care for the leaver buster, but i do care that i cannot play league of legends because i got fourteen thousand ms of ping. i swear, it was 14373 ping. all my other programs were closed, there was only lol open. it is upsetting knowing that you cannot play the game, with no apperent reason. also if i knew i would have had continuos disconnections i would not have played. can't riot add some sort of "ping prediction" before the matches? that way if i saw it was more than 200 i whould have chosen to do something else. how come yesterday i had 83 ping stable and today 600 stable with 1400 peak?

I've downvoted this thread because you're giving a brand new system a bad name out of ignorance.

You weren't punished by LeaverBuster. The "I agree" statement is a one time statement that appears at your very first leave, regardless of reason. It happens for everyone. It isn't a punishment, and it will have no impact on future games. It's only purpose is to serve as a reminder for newer players that leaving games CAN result in punishment. It shows up for people who have played forever like you and me only because the system is brand new.

Also, any program on your PC can hang and crash your PC.

I had a bot match earlier where LoL complained about the firewall, even though I had a game seconds earlier. Then, the next day, I got notified by LeaverBuster that I left a game, and I have to say "I Agree" to not leave any future games. LeaverBuster needs to come up only if you are playing PVP games. If I can't control some things with League or the client just stops working, I shouldn't get LeaverBuster knocking down my door to tell me I did something that was rude, but I couldn't control it anyway.

What pisses me off is that I have a friend that literally leaves like every 4 games, but he hardly ever gets punished for it. He never actually learns and randomly leaves a game for something stupid like to take a shower or eat rice.

Lol on this note I would like to say Nami has two "Default" skins and selecting the second one causes League to say you have an invalid skin and wont let you join team builder.

I had this happen to me yesterday, but thankfully it was in a nornal match (The one normal match I played that day, thank goodness it wasn't one of my ranked matches). Mine went slightly different though. I got into the loading screen and it was all fine. Everyone loaded except for one person whose title card was blanked out like you would see when someone DC's during the start.

I decided to leave it alone and surf the web till I heard the intro beaming sounds but after a few minutes, it never came.

I just closed the game and reconnected and apparently that guy who was blanked out had connected fine BUT I never connected. The match was 10 minutes in and I was behind by alot.

I really wamted to win that game too since the enemy team was trash talking us but they had a Nasus that our top laner couldn't stop from farming.

It was a close match even though I had dc'd :/

What pissed me off was that Riot made ME agree to not leave again when I wasn't the one who caused this.

It's a Police State Riot and RIOT is at the top as the NWO. We're all doomed, DOTA2 might be our savior but I hate valve's undermining tactics just as much. Everyone! To Heroes of the STORM!

You would think that that if it was just an agreement, it would prompt you as you try to log in kind of like a TOS agreement after every patch but no, you have to do it to trigger it. Even if it's accidental or not your fault. YOU'RE BEING BLAMED.

if they only wanted us to agree not to afk/leave they could've done it as we click the play to get to the login screen like they do with the TOS or as we log in. This is triggered because we have been flagggedddddd

Technically every leaver buster is riotgames' fault since they 1. made league of legends (can't get busted for leaving a game that doesn't exist) and 2. they made leaver buster to punish you for it.

Although more on topic, I've had issues similar to this where i would be stuck in champion select and would have to exit game and re-log. Sometimes I would be put in a black screen, where I would have to use task manager to close the game and restart the client. Doing this is a lot harder than said due to the mouse usually being invisible and also because the client covers up the task manager preventing me from closing the game until after I wait a few minutes. I believe this might be caused by an error in connection.

I just got my thread deleted for posting in the wrong forum because complaining about not being able to load the game even after I did everything I could on my side and the faulty leaver buster and it was posted in Report a Bug forum... Censorship?

This used to happen to me a lot,with some bs firewall message.hell i got cut off from the login screen. I should say beware when playing the new map as my fps dropped to 2 when a Syndra picked up her dark balls spheres

that new map dropped my fps from 80 to 20-30 and with low settings 150 fps to 50 fps. quite bad. im sure this doesnt happen to everyone.

if it was a rads problem it would say something about it since i had a RADs problem before. this problem say it cant connect, no internet or or no validated server. the no validated server portion only shows up when you try to send a bugsplat but it cant find/connect to any even though your internet is perfectly fine. its like they are preventing you from reporting this so they can hack as much as they want. idk, i might be over thinking it but the truth is stranger than fiction.

the past few day the server has disconnected on me in champion select and in game and leaver buster is punishing me with temporary bans and i do not believe this is fair because I've never had my own connection problems

I have a very very similar issue. I have a brand new custom built pc and 2.5 mb/s internet. I connect to games and it says I have 40 ping but for some reason I can't move and it keeps saying attempting to reconnect and crashing. I spoke to one of the Server guys for Riot (he was in game with me when I was having issues) and he told me very firmly that it was not his issue and that the problem was my pc or internet. That's bull. I am a comp-sci major and set this pc up myself, and pay 80$ a month for high-speed internet. There is SOMETHING going on on Riot's end and I hope to god that they fix it because the game is literally unplayable right now. I've been able to run it fine for years, and only today have I ever had issues. I can still run every single other game online/singleplayer perfectly fine. Seriously riot, give me back my goddamn LP.

how many games you played afterwards? if its happening to only that one game, you probably being trolled by a hacker. I use to have that problem where i had 80 fps and my ping was around 100 and it said i cant connect to the server. how i know its not my fault? because in other games i can connect to the server. you cant actually tell me that my compter is throwing a tantrum and randomly not connect me for certain games i play for LOL.

It's a known issue and nothing has changed because they don't know how to deal with it. Maybe shut down rank for several hours. its usually rank games that I experience this because theres where all the cheaters are. either they are elo boosting or grinding an account to sell. People dont even bother with thinking of cool names to attract buyers anymore because name change is available.

I have an identical problem to you except for the fact that the logo doesn't freeze my computer, but right after champ select my game crashes a million times, and what I have heard from most people is that deleting the Logitech files in your game will make it work, I tried it and it worked for a couple days then the problem came back, but you should give it a shot if you haven't yet.

I haven't had problems like this lately, but i remember having that in Season 2 and 3, especially when EUW servers were absolute shit. The new leave buster is in no way a good approach to afks, do i even have to mention that it punishes you even if you reconnect?

Riot needs to fix their servers before making dumb punishments like this.

I had a problem that was similar. After champ select i loaded almost everyone but when the last person came up he didn't load i was forced to quit on my client and connected at 6 minutes in ( i know cause my brother was in the game ) I then continued to play the game through but after it asked me to say ( I Agree ) but i didn't want too. Riot please if someone dc's dont catch them with that.

Haven't been banned yet, but given how often this game crashes, it's only a matter of time. Ever since new rift, my game has been crashing in the loading screen with stupid regularity. I've already been warned by leavebuster, at this rate I'm gonna get banned simply because the game is buggy as hell.

Something similar happened to me, except that time warner cable had an outage when i was loading... wasn't my fault, but I did load back in when it was over..

I do believe leaver buster only truly gets mad if you tend to leave games frequently. One or two little issues shouldn't matter unless it's back to back, I imagine.

I have a similar problem. My pc is perfectly fine and more than capable of running league in a buttery smooth fashion, it's done it before. Also, my internet is not the problem. But I have been getting disconnected and getting caught in "Attempting to Reconnect" loops like crazy. I have now been tagged by the leaver buster program for something that is obviously Riots fault. I am pissed about this. They can't recognize when someone is getting kicked off by their system and differentiate it from when someone purposely leaves the game. No Riot, I am not happy.

Riot, you need to fix this. This is not a request.

Hell, in my last match, none of my team got into the match until 4 minutes in. None of us were happy and most of us got tagged with some sort of leaver status for the match. This is not good Riot. Your customers are not happy with this and you need to recognize that.

Not only that, lately I have been having huge disconnect problems and have been getting tagged with "Leaver" because of it. Riot, that needs to be fixed, now! I was just put in a lower priority queuing because of your system that fails to meet expectations. I don't know what is going on here, but I don't like it.

Now I'm going to teleport out of here summoner 12 and leave the rest up to you, Riot, and my fellow summoners. Good day.

A computer being decent doesn't mean it can't be the problem. The fact that you're experiencing the problem and I (and everyone I know/play with) are not, means your computer likely is the problem. It is possible that it's a specific compatibility issue rather than there being something "wrong" with your computer. But that would still make it your computer.

Ok not to get to caught up in this fight, but aside from the Lever Buster i kinda agree with Pat here. Before the patch my "Potato powered toaster that makes great bagels and start up my dirt bike" could play League with no problems, after the patch i could only play when i had all my sound turned off(and only then). Now that i can deal with but this whole thing where you don't get to champ select is bull, i have been stuck with a 30 min timer because of the doges.
