After Champion Select screen goes black

Hi, so every time I play a game or try to spectate a game, the same thing happens. After the champion selection is locked in ,and the loading screen for the match is suppose to appear. Instead of that my screen just stays black, everything is still running perfectly, I just can't play a game. The same goes for when I try to watch a game the, loading screen never pops up it just stays black. I play on a Mac. This also started happening after the new update. I have never had this problem before hand. So I was wondering, is anyone else having this problem. (P.S: I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the game and this issue still keeps happening.
