[CRASH]Game crashed and started updating?

[CRASH] I dont know if this is the right place to put this, but, as of writing, I am in a ranked match, and game became unresponsive, so I turned on the task manager and force quit the game. Upon launching the client, I got the "applying patches" message, and after downloading, I logged into the client, but I couldn't continue the game. Here is the image that proves the game is trying to update - https://imgur.com/a/hJy1l EDIT - We lost the game, and me ( and my team most likely) lost lp because of a crash. Any chance someone from riot can at least give them back the lp?
