[CLIENT] Client update disconnects all USB ports

Whenever there was a new client update, midway through the update all my USB ports just disconnect and crash the update as my game is installed in a external HDD. It was not a problem as after I restart my computer this wouldn't occur again and the update would finish normally. But today while updating the game all my USB ports disconnected twice, one happening just after a fresh restart of my computer, crashing the update in the same file. Now my game client executable got corrupted and gives the error code 0xc0000142 when I try to launch it. Because the game is installed on a external HDD my system doesn't recognize it and won't let me uninstall or repair it, leaving me a painful 5 hour download & installation as the only choice.
