the time vary but within the first 5 mins of any type of game my computer will completely freeze forcing me to do a forced restart. i have no programs like overwolf running, is anyone else having this problem or can someone help me fix it?
This used to happen to me a lot, and I got very friendly with a few Rito members because of it. More then likely it's your firewall/smart detection causing the issue. Try turning off your security software for one game and see if it works, otherwise it may be your system not able to handle league graphics
Post your OS, specs and running processes, league graphics settings.
Try disabling the XBoX Game Bar if you're on Win10
It's not computer specs. I have the same problem. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the new Microsoft update because I didn't have a problem until last night after my computer updated. The update fixed Cortana (which I purposefully broke because Cortana is stupid) it updated Windows Defender (which is likely the problem) and now my computer's boot time is significantly slower. I'm going to uninstall the updates probably and see if it helps.
It's probably a Windows Live thing. Windows 10 updated and added new features. I disabled the Xbox Live stuff in the settings like Game DVR and notifications. My LoL works fine after that.
