DJ sona not working with skype?

so i was so excited to play Dj sona while in skype with some friends, but the passive music wouldn't play no matter what i tried. when i gave up and he left the call the music started playing, but when i try to turn my in game music up all the way everything but the Sona music would play.(while in a call)
