Vi the Jungler, Forget your Q!

During a bot battle (beginner), I was practicing with Vi in the jungler. Nothing bad with the machete ( ) at first. Got lvl 2, grabbed Q, everything fine. THEN, after the upgrade on the machete was obtained (more exactly ), the Q no longer responded.

1. Normally you'd hit Q, you'd get the arrow to expand outwards... negative. It would 'flash' as if it's just recovered a CD. After 15 seconds, tried again, it did not even respond.
2. I've waited a couple lvls after, and tried again, but there was no response.

Am I the only one that's noticed this?
