[CLIENT] Randomly Not Being Able to See Messages in Champion Select/End-Game Screen

Hi not sure if anyone else has had this problem as of late, but since patch 5.13 I get the occasional random issue of not being able to see messages at all in both champion select and in end-game screens. I don't know why this has been happening but I've tried closing and reopening the game multiple times. It's really hard to communicate which lane and champion I would like to play when I can't read or tell others what I'm playing. I'm pretty sure the problem isn't no one is typing because even when I type something nothing comes up. It's a bit of a problem especially if I'm getting flamed for so called "instalocking". So if anyone has a solution or has the same problem it would be really nice to bump it until we get some help or find a way to fix this. Thanks for reading! And have fun on the Rift :)

1. Login
2. Search for game
3. Champion select
4. Tries to type a message
5. Nothing comes up on screen (even when I type a message) except for names of the players inside the chat (Ex. Bas3d Ditto joined the room.)
6. In-game chat system works fine
7. Game ends and I don't get any messages except for ______ joined the room.
