IP does not change in home screen upon bying champ

Had 6732 IP, bought a champ for 6300 IP, and while the shop screen correctly interprets my IP stock as too low to buy another, my IP still reports as 6732 on home screen. Upon restarting client it still shows 6732, until I enter shop.

Happened to me when I bought runes. Tried to buy more and said I did not have enough.
