League of Legends client is laggy.

As the title suggests my client is really laggy. I really want a fix for this because I often can't make any runes within the given time because of the lag. I often miss the ban fase too. If you know a fix please let me know. I already tried to change the affinity and priority. although that works it resets when I restart my pc and i would like a permanent fix. Thanks in advance!
