Got an S and got a chest but it failed to open and disappeared - submitted bug report, still nothing

Was hoping to hear back from my bug report and possibly get the chest, but nothing yet. I've received two level up chests since then (I just play ARAM), and they worked fine - but I lost that one I guess? Just the cost of playing a computer game occasionally I guess? I was hoping there was some sort of "we looked and oops here you go" compensation but I guess with millions of players it's not like that, or did I send a message/report to the wrong area?
