Thresh and relic shield

The "execute" function of the relic shield () doesn't Work on Thresh. At the first level of the item you can execute minions having less then 200hp (if I remember right), that says the discription of it. But if you do an auto attack at a minion with about 200hp, you still just do damage as much as your attack damage. I don't know if it ever worked on Thresh, because I never played him with relic shield before. But I know that it worked on Blitzcrank. The sharing still works. Btw., I am sorry if there are some mistakes in the text, I am mit from a english speaking country, and you know the auto-correction of Google ^^ Greetings, Jakob

THRESH IS RANGED YOU NINCOMPOOP! The execute doesn't work on ranged champs, but you can still get the gold and the heal if you properly last hit the minion! (so use flay first to get the AA bonus so you don't miss it!)

Posts Like OP make me sad for humanity. Some people just can't read. Seeing posts like this are just so frustrating because apparenlty so many people think thresh is melee for some reason.

But its not. It has a linked chain that he throws. I'd get if he only hit close range, but he doesn't.

I does work. I use it all the time on Thresh, but for ranged champions like Thresh it can be a bit more difficult for it to proc.

It doesn't proc the execute because Thresh is ranged. Thresh's Flay passive can be used to make last-hitting the minions easier.

The gold will be shared when you kill the minion through any source of damage

Sometimes you can get it off of the ranged attacks though, you just have to hit them with flay then aa them.

Yes, but that isn't the execute; that's the gold-sharing portion of the passive.

You will share the gold if you kill the minion using any source of damage, including basic attacks and abilities. However, you cannot execute a minion using a ranged autoattack.

Yeah, but that's kind of the whole point of the item. The exe isn't really important, the gold sharing is.

Yes, but this thread isn't saying that the gold sharing isn't working. The OP was saying the execute wasn't working, which is intentional since Thresh is ranged.

At no point did the OP mention that the gold sharing wasn't working properly for them; they said that they couldn't execute the minions with autoattacks.

Yes, and it says right on the item that exes only work with Melee.. so, in the end it's not a bug.

That is exactly what I have said several times now. Did you misunderstand my arguments? I was claiming that it was intentional the entire time.

Relic shield will only proc the execute on melee autoattacks. Thresh is ranged.

The gold will still be shared if he kills a minion, but he can't execute them with autoattacks like a melee champion could.
