I recently upgraded Windows 10 on my laptop. After the update, post the champ select screen, I get the following error - "critical error has occurred and the process must be terminated". The game just crashes. Again, this used to work fine before the Windows upgrade. Not sure what went wrong. I am attaching the dump file generated from the crash. It happens even when i try to open the training mode. Already placed on LPQ because of this issue.

Also, I have had anti-virus (Mcafee) running on my laptop since 2 years now, so i dont see it causing this issue. Additionally, I already tried with the Check corruption tool, but nothing works.

It's probably because a blacklisted or unrecognized software is running while you're trying to play League. Blaclisted software includes:

Sandboxes and virtualization Cheat engine Wooxy Macro software

Unrecognized software could include: Antiviruses Borderless gaming apps Mod managers for other games

Also manual config file edits could cause it

I have confirmed it with Sandboxie, Avast Sandbox, COMODO sandbox, Borderless Gaming

And it cannot run in any virtualized environment. If you're a Linux user, you can't play League
