Season 8 start client won't launch help?!

Ever since the day before the start of season 8 I haven't been able to play league because my client won't launch, I've reinstalled the game about 4 times, I've disabled my firewall and given permission for all riot files to be allowed access into the firewall, and I reconfigured my DNS for the client and it still won't launch. Please help!! :)

I was just having this issue myself. I managed to get the client to open by opening up the file location, scrolling down and trying to launch the legacy client. Trying to launch that opened up the current client and I was able to log on. I have no idea why that worked, but here's hoping it works for you. If that fails, check whatever anti-virus software you have to make sure it isn't the problem.
