Sound Bug/Can't Change Masteries in Champ select

Have had the same issue since the new client began. In champ select I have distorted sound and it lags everything else. I often can't change/load masteries or select champs as a result. I have no sound issues with any other games, drivers are updated, Windows 8.1.

Have sent in bug reports/tickets and not received a response.
