[CLIENT] Champ select "freeze" for entire lobby. Chat still works.

Dear Riot Team, unfortunately I've to report a new (at least from what I know) bug in the League of Legends Client. When entering the match you get in the champ declare a champion phase where you and your mates show each other which champion they're going to play. In this phase I left my slot open and did not select any champion. After doing so the ban phase begins where we ban simultaneously. This also worked fine and as you can see in the linked clip I uploaded on YouTube (sorry for the bad quality) I banned Warwick. After this the players picked their champs until the picking phase reached me. Now it was my turn to pick my champion. I tried to pick Kha'Zix and for some reason I just got the error message

"There was an error selecting you champion. Please try again."

until the time ran out. I expected to get kicked from the game and the champ select (and sadly getting a dodge timer) but I didn't. I just stuck like my mates in the champion select. As you can see in the clip the chat still worked (however the same black background Word-document-like chat bug occurred to me). Because I can not give you the entirely complete chat history I can say to you that the team mates I was matched with also complained about stucking in the lobby with me not picking. After about 1 or 2 minutes one of the mates just left as I assume because he left the lobby chat and didn't came back but the champ select still didn't end. After about 2 more minutes me and my premade decided to restart their clients too (me first) to leave the champ select. However even after I left the champ select the champ select didn't end for my premade (which I thought it could maybe do because I seemed to have caused the problem). After we both restarted the game client we were able to create a new lobby and queue again.

I tried to describe it as detailed as possible. However I'm sorry for my bad english sometimes. I hope you understand the most of it tho. If you got any questions about details you might need to fix the bug or to understand it feel free to ask me. I try to answer :)
