Lee Sin W quick+self cast not working

I know in patch 7.11 you broke it to allow buffering in high latency environments but still not fixed, I came back to lol recently thanks to the new runes (great job btw, super fun stuff) and I tried Lee Sin again only to see that I can't cast it on myself with quick+self cast that I always used and now I have to get used to the alt+W thing that I cannot stand, I'm not a great player I don't want to think about an extra button when I want to activate my W for survivability. Can you at least say if you are still working on a fix or are you just gonna keep it this way?
