Runic Echos on Chilling Smite Black?

I was playing nidalee jungle and I had bought runic echos and whenever I opened my shop and looked at the item after that it was black. I don't know why this happened because when I looked at my items on the hud, it was fine. It's only a small bug but it really bothered me.
