Weird lobby/champ select issues

I recently bought a new router, and ever since then, my client has been riddled with problems. In the Beta Client, half of the matches that I queued into I couldn't accept. When I could get to champ select, it freezes, and I would miss the window to lock in my champion. After re-patching, re-installing, and trying everything in the Hextech Repair Tool, I switched back to the legacy client. There have been fewer issues, but about a quarter of the time, the same problems would re-occur. I tried to queue up for ARAM today, but the accept window didn't show up, and I was just abruptly kicked out of the queue for not accepting. After a few attempts, I have a 30 min ban. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
