Client Crash at load screen

I just lost 20 lp from a client crash. I know others have experienced this issue as well, because several of my teammates lately have been leaving the game and reconnecting, but apparently i didn't catch it in the first 3 minutes of the game, so i just lost my lp. Has anyone else noticed this issue? I'm close to being demoted as it is, and I'm not going to jump back into ranked if that's how I'm going to lose my lp.

Update** My league client crashed again today trying to load into a game (6 days after this post). Luckily I caught it in time that I didn't lose LP automatically, but I still missed the first 2 waves of cs and played from behind almost the whole game. My friends and teammates randomly experience the same issues and is lowering the quality of the games. If you are experiencing the same issue please upvote so Riot staff can see this.
