[CLIENT] Endless "unspecified error occurred" loop

I have tried maybe 20 different things to get league to install or patch. It started out with me trying to get patch 6.24 to install. That didn't work. Tried using hextech repair tool in every possible combination of options. That didn't work. Did a clean uninstall, restarted, wiped everything. That didn't work. Fiddled with my router. That didn't work. Tried deleting specific files in the league of legends folders that people recommended. That didn't work. I have tried so many things over the past 5 days trying to get it to install. Usually it says unspecified error during the file scan, sometimes it gets to downloading. Now whatever I try ends in an endless loop of unspecified error, retry, repeat. I am at my wits end. I just want to play league again. Any ideas? Running windows 7 if that makes a difference.
