Should ekko ult break suppress

Is Ekkos ult suppose to be able to break suppress or is this a bug, i was just playing malz when i used my ult on ekko, about 1 sec into the cast he ults and breaks away, is this intended or a bug?

I heard rumors about kalista autoing through malz's ult. If they were true, then this is a malz bug and might not be an ekko bug

I would say that it is a bug. I was playing Ekko earlier against a Malz (I got stomped) and his ult literally screwed me. Couldn't break out of it with my ult at all. I was supressed and that was pretty much it.

I'm even willing to go as far as to say that Malzahar is one of Ekkos strongest counters.
TL;DR: Yeah, probably a bug.

i noticed this when i was playing malz as well. its completely unfair bullshit. ekko is a broken champ and were going on week 2 of him not being nerfed/removed from game till hes fixed

The only way I could think of this happening (other than spaghetti code) is if he had a QQS and popped it, looking at your match history, he did.

Ekko becomes invulnerable for I think .5 seconds when he uses his Ultimate. If your opponent could time it well enough you would Ult him while he was invulnerable wasting Malz ult and getting out of suppress free and clear and regaining health.
