Teemo Bug

One game I was playing Teemo (I'm awful I know) laning against Xin Zhao. What I noticed is when he activated his q he could strike me through blindness. Not just the knockup but the damage from all three of his attacks applied. From my understanding this is only an AA modifier so his attacks should not be affecting me. I'm not saying that it's not good that this happens but as far as description goes this ability should block that and I try to have things as fair and clear as possible.
