Alpha Client Bug

I closed my client when I was done playing earlier, then played something else. I close the second game I was playing, and my Alpha Launcher was missing from my desktop. I went to my file location for the client, and tried to launch it from there, and it got stuck on the update screen. Tried launching it from the folder, and a shortcut. Client just gets stuck one the updater, no progress.
