So I was playing against a Warwick, he bought an elixir of iron, and every time I ulted him, it immediately cancelled. I'm fairly sure Skarner's ult is a Suppression so it shouldn't be effected by Tenacity, and the fact that it was instantly cancelled weirded me out even more. (The Warwick had Tenacity boots too.)
I've had a few cases where some champs have instantly removed the impale as well. I thought QSS had escaped my view at some point but no, they had nothing to remove the debuff via ability or item. I'm not sure if they had this elixir though.
Worth verification if possible.
Yes, this happened to me the other day, except it was a Kalista who bought Guardian Angel. Every single time I ulted her, it would just get immediately cancelled.
There was another post I read (unconfirmed) that said that it happens with Zac and Anivia too.
There's a bug with CC right now; removing it's effectiveness in certain situations. Sometimes Impale works, sometimes it doesn't for me.
I also had Skarners let fail today repeatedly against a Rengar with GA.
