After the latest League of Legends patch the client is still crashing.

Yesterday I was unable to play a League of Legends due to a bug that cause the client to stop working. I am unaware of the cause of the issue. All I know is that it's not me because I have tried everything to fix the bug and my brother has the same issue. Nothing has worked solved my problem. Riot Games please fix this! What happens when the game crashes is it says "League of Legends (TM) Client Has Stopped working" and then windows attempts to find a solution to the problem and it doesn't, then it just tells me to close the program. This problem only occurs when I am attempting to play a game or spectate one. I can do anything within the launcher just as soon as everyone connects and the game attempts to start the game gets extremely laggy and then I get that error message I mentioned before.
