LOL patcher or update takes too long

This just happened like a couple of hours ago. It was working fine this morning.

I click the LOL client and on the top it takes forever. it's on 4% for like an hour and it says 140kpbs. It usually takes around a second or not even a second until I can press Play.

I tried uninstalling then reinstalling and it's the same. My wifi connection is perfectly fine.

What could be the problem? and the solution?

Thank you.
