League Client...Update?

Hey guys I just went to log in to league and it updated...to version 1.8? Anyone else having this issue? I don't to put in my log in info in case of a malware issue.

that's the version of the client.
The game is fine. Why would you think this could be malware?
ehh I thought it was kinda strange too because the new login looked so cheap. did you log in yet?
