Stuck in Champion Select

Some other people and me were stuck in a champion select for no reason,and now we have leaving penalty for 5 min.Does this happen often or ... ? Thank you for readin,PEACE!!

I was doing customs with my boyfriend all weekend long. This happened at least 3 times. The last time was last night and I didn't know for 5 minutes because I was on Firefox. It was only when I looked at my msgs did I see we were stuck. Hasn't happened in matchmade games yet. Sorry you guys got the time penalty :(
