Hey Riot Team, me and some friends are getting problems with lol since the new 5.19 patch was released. The Fps always drop to around 20 and the Sound is extremely slow. Ive never exerienced anything like this before, im always playing at 144fps. Would be nice if you could check that. Also happened to Teammates. Greetings IPRS

I'm actually having the same problem as you, sadly. First time it's happened to me. I was having 60+ before the patch on high/very high, then I try it today and I'm hit with 5-15 fps. I've tried all the 'fixes' I could find, even defragging as we speak to see if that even works.

Im having a similar issue, My game will be running between 160-220fps then it will drop 100 fps in a second causing me to lag. My roommate doesnt have any problems so its not my connection. It happens every few seconds and it makes the game impossible to play.

I got the same problem i haven't played for the last 4 days but i haven't been doing anything on my laptop either. I'm always running league at a constant 120 fps but from 5.19 its drops every minute, 5 times or so. another issue i got is when I move my items to another slot it will cause allot of lagg same happens when i click on another location on the minimap. And I noticed some issues that i get, one of them is that i spawn later then the rest like 8 secs or so and the second problem is that if i Alt-Tab and click league again it will take an age to start up again.

Hope someone can help!!

I've had this problem quite a lot too, but for much longer. I tried 2 things to solve it, both worked reasonably for me.

  1. Is go to your graphics card settings and change the 3D physics settings to "let the application decide"

  2. Is set the affinity of the game from task manager. Unfortunately this one is not a long term fix because you have to change the affinity every time you load the application. There will be different methods for setting affinity for different OS's, but I do know the Windows 7 way and can tell you.

Open up task manager Locate leagueoflegends.exe and right click on it select "set affinity" uncheck all the boxes and only select 2 or 3.

What this does is forces your league client to only use 2 or 3 of your cpu's instead of the multitude you have. It makes processing data for the application more fluid and removes the jitters and frame rate drops you might experience during your game. It does not harm your computer, so if it doesn't work for you, don't worry, its not permanent it will revert to normal when you close the application.

Hopefully something will work for you!
